Pastor Alice Mello

"The New Harbor United Methodist Church is excited to welcome its new pastor this coming Sunday, July 12th.  Pastor Alice Mello will lead the 9 am worship service following a short meet-and-greet beginning at 8:30 am. 

"Pastor Alice has served as a Local Licensed Pastor in Maine for the past three years and brings a heart for compassionate, Christ-centered ministry rooted in prayer, Scripture, healing and community care.  She will serve churches in New Harbor and Bath.

"As she begins her ministry in New Harbor, Alice's vision is to build a welcoming church family that grows deeper in spirituality and in numbers:  inviting new neighbors, extending genuine hospitality, and creating clear pathways for people to connect, belong, and serve as the congregation shares God's love in practical ways throughout the community.  

"Pastor Alice and her husband, Jim, recently moved into the New Harbor parsonage and look forward to learning about their new home community. Outside of ministry, Alice enjoys time with loved ones or riding the open road on her Harley-Davidson.

"This year the New Harbor church celebrates 170 years on New Harbor hill.
