New Harbor UMC Food Pantry
Our food pantry has been serving families in Bristol and South Bristol for more than 20 years. The food pantry is open Saturdays from 9 to 10 AM. Families are able to choose from very well stocked shelves and freezers ,food as well as other needed items. Dedicated volunteers manage inventory, stock shelves and freezers and make purchases locally as well as from The Good Shephard Food Bank.
Donations are welcome and often include canned goods as cottages are closed for the season, produce from local farms and tax deductible donations.

It is the mission of Mechuwana to complement the local church ministry by providing a unique Christian setting for persons of all ages for personal growth and experiences that enhance one's relationship to God, neighbors, and the natural world.
Camp Mechuwana runs summer camp programs from mid-June through mid-August. We have a wide variety of weekly summer camp offerings including sports, swimming, musical theatre, special needs, creative arts, day camps, and more!

The United Methodist Economic Ministry exists to be in partnership with rural communities in western Maine to create healthy, sustainable communities
within the region.
In response to God’s call in Christ to clothe the naked, feed the hungry, and care for the homeless (Matthew 25:35-37), the UMEM seeks to promote social justice and provide material, educational, and spiritual support as first steps toward self-sufficiency in this region of severe economic challenge.

Neighbors helping neighbors stay safe, warm and dry.
Since 1984, CHiP, Inc. has been fulfilling a mission of neighbors helping neighbors keep their homes safe, warm and dry by providing services such as weatherproofing, replacement of windows and doors, handicap access ramps and electrical and plumbing repairs for Lincoln County homeowners who are not able to do so themselves because of illness, disability or financial need. These repairs are undertaken by volunteers and professionals at no cost to the homeowner.
